Mohammad Dawood carries a heavy responsibility—he is the sole provider for his family of thirteen. Every day, he faces the challenge of ensuring his loved ones have food and basic necessities. Life has not been easy, especially with unemployment and the struggle of farming in tough conditions. His home is far from the market, and without transportation, accessing essential goods is difficult.
Despite these hardships, hope arrived in the form of the kitchen gardening program. Chosen by the beneficiary selection committee, Mohammad received training, support, and resources to establish his own garden. Though small, this garden became a turning point in his life. With hard work and dedication, he transformed it into a source of fresh food and income for his family.
The benefits extended beyond his home—kitchen gardening boosts production, supports economic growth, improves health, and strengthens environmental sustainability. Through the program, Mohammad gained valuable knowledge on farming and land management, helping him make the most of his resources.
Grateful for the support provided by the Search organization and ADNO, he expressed his happiness and hopes for the program to continue, ensuring long-term and sustainable assistance for families in need. With essential materials, seeds, tools, and financial aid, Mohammad is no longer struggling—he is building a brighter future. A simple garden has given him more than food—it has given him hope.
